Hello Friends! 

  Time's really flying! Last Summer was a BEAUTY, with so much sunshine, countless flowers and almost 30 monarch butterflies raised here, though we didn't gig as much as we'd hoped and Covid ruined my Labor Day Weekend. 

 One lovely surprise was anitakeys nomination in the JAZZ category by Cleveland Music Awards!!! I didn't win, but it was sweet to be recognized and the Awards Ceremony on August 26th was Very Cool!

 Fall was very mild in Ohio, and Winter- Winter barely happened, either…so Spring it is!!

 We did some serious  Merrymaking at our show on Friday, Nov.24th at Millard Fillmore Presidential Library on Waterloo in Cleveland!! Here's a Favorite song from that show:

 Happily, we DID play a few lakeside patio shows again this Summer at Driftwood Point, 6827 Lake Road West in Geneva!  (440-361-4047 for dinner reservations) Big THANKS to All who joined us for an afternoon BirthDay Show on Sunday, June 6th, our Friday night show on July 16th and Sunday August 15th for the 5-8pm Sunset Show! And I played a Piano Duo show with Julie Slattery at Benny Vino Urban Winery at 835 South County Line Road in Geneva on Friday, August 20th, from 7-10pm. It was another rainy day for our lunchtime show on Sunday, July 11th, on the patio at Cavotta's Garden Center, but sunnier on Sunday, September 26th! It's a lovely open-air garden setting at 19603 Nottingham in Cleveland, a Wonderful Music space!

  AND WATERLOO ARTS FEST was BACK!! ALL DAY Music, Arts & Crafts all over Waterloo on September 11th! I played the Millard Fillmore Presidential Library at 5pm with drummer John Scully, and we had a BLAST!!

 We played Becky's Annual Halloween Party/Costume Contest again- with Miss Melvis, Kiss Me Deadly and Meg and the Megnetosphere - on Saturday, October 30th, downtown Cleveland. Big Fun!! And I played a fundraiser with Ryann Anderson (on bass) for Cleveland Rocks- hosted by Charlie Weiner and featuring LOTS of local Musicians- at The Beachland Ballroom on Waterloo on Sunday, November 7th.

  I have recorded 5 CDs of Original Music, starting with watertalk in 2011. watertalk, produced & engineered by Byron Nemeth, was begun in his Cleveland studio and completed in his Arizona studio. watertalk features Special Guest performances by Deanna Brzozowski, Wanda Sobieska, Karmi James, Byron Nemeth, Carlos Jones, J. Scott Franklin, Tim Sprow, Darren "Cholly O" Evans, Jeff Anastasia, Rob Hunter and Peter "Pedro" Dell. 

  In June 2013, I released Twenty Twelve, recorded with friends Ryann Anderson (bass) and Lorne Franklin (congas/djembe), engineered by Tracy Marie and Mastered by Paul Hamann at Suma Studio. Twenty Twelve features Special Guests J. Scott Franklin on "Serenade of the Sky", Matt Harmon on "Nothin' Left" and Reginald Redd on "butterflies".

  In September 2014, I released Dreamsongs and Misfits, featuring new (dreamsongs) and a few older, previously unreleased songs (misfits), featuring yours truly on keys & vocals,  with Quinn Sands on harmonies & hand percussion, Ryann Anderson on bass, Lorne Patrick Franklin on congas/djembe/assorted percussion and Tony Kazel on drums. Recorded Live, mixed and Mastered by Dave Mann Wolf at Mann Wolf Studio.

It includes 4 previously unreleased songs: Mother Earth Blues, Soggy Shoes, Nobody Whispers and Letting Go as well as a solo piano lullaby I wrote for my niece, Prayer For Dana, along with remixes of 2 songs previously released as singles- Who She Is and Wedding Song. Recorded again in Mann Wolf Studio by the very talented Dave Mann Wolf and featuring Ryann Anderson (Bass throughout and Rhythm Guitar on Soggy Shoes) and Lorne Franklin (Bongos on Letting Go and High Hat Cymbals on Mother Earth Blues) from the Friends band as well as Special Guests/Longtime Friends (and local favorites) Carlos Jones (on Vocals and Bongos on Soggy Shoes), engineer Dave Mann Wolf (on backup Vocals on Letting Go & The Ahh Song and Lead Guitar on Who She Is) and Jeffrey Bowen on Congas, wood blocks and guiro...I'm VERY EXCITED to share this recording with you!!
